Tjaša Šulc Dejanović began her musical studies in her hometown of Maribor. She finished her graduate and postgraduate study of the instrument under Ksenija Kos at the University of Zagreb’s Academy of Music. For her performance of Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, op. 54, with the Zagreb Philharmonic, the University of Zagreb conferred upon her the Dean’s Award. To deepen her knowledge of the piano even further, she went on to study with Konstantin Bogin at the Accademia Musicale Santa Cecilia in Bergamo, as well as with several other pianists, such as Eugen Indjic, Noel do Carmo Flores, Jasminka Stančul, Karl Heinz Kämmerling, Sijavuš Gadžijev, and more.
